GRAPHS COMPARING ALLOCATIONS OF UNRELIABLE UNITS,

Abstract

A series of thirty graphs showing the optimum return functions and allocation strategies and described in AD-661 540. The study uses the tabular data given in AD-661 540 to display graphically the dependence of the functions and strategies developed on the various parameters involved. The graphs should facilitate comparisons between different optimization models by sensitivity to such parameters as 'expected number of demands,' 'unit probability of failure,' and 'number of units available.' It should be noted, however, that although conciseness is gained by the graphical display, there is some sacrifice of data accuracy.
