DAILY AND SEASONAL VARIATION OF THE TOTAL ELECTRON CONTENT OF THE IONOSPHERE OVER TORTOSA.

Abstract

The Total Electron Content of the Ionosphere can be calculated from the Faraday fadings of signals received from Satellites. After an indication of the method used at TORTOSA, exposure is made of the results obtained at the Station with the records of the S - 66 Satellite from November 1964 till February 1966. Consideration is given to the diurnal and seasonal variation of T.E.C. and results are compared with those gathered by other authors.
