Abstract

The manual is primarily intended for officers and petty officers whose first duties concern lookouts. Part I covers problems of administering a lookout organization aboard ship. Part II contains training outlines for instructing lookouts either aboard ship or on shore. Part III describes drills for the Night Lookout Stage, part of the shore training.
