SOME EXPERIMENTAL NON-CONSTANT-SUM GAMES REVISITED PART II,
Abstract
A previous paper (AD-660 204) reported the analysis of a series of 2x2 payoff matrix two-person non-constant-sum game experiments in which subjects knew only their own payoff matrix entries and not those of their opponents. In contrast with the earlier paper, which analyzed the effectiveness of five standard game-theoretic solutions as predictors of observed outcomes in such situations, the present paper suggests new theory and measurements of behavior that are better suited to game environments in which players do not know their opponent's payoffs. This paper examines the indirect effects of the information conditions present during the play of the games.
