REPORT OF EFFECTS OF PRESSURE ON VARIOUS UNITS OF USN USL VOICE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR UNDERWATER DEMOLITION TEAMS.

Abstract

The tests were conducted in two parts, as follows: (1) Relative audiograms were run, employing the earphones under test and connected to a Western Electric Audiometer Model 6B. (2) Measurements were made by voltmeter of peak-levels attained and tape recordings produced of word lists read by a subject into the microphone under test at various levels in the tanks.
