Abstract
Brief summaries are given of the progress and results of research activities in the following general areas: (1) high pressure phenomena, (2) intermolecular interactions, spectra, and structure, (3) electric and magnetic properties of materials, (4) electronic structure and fundamental interactions in solids, (5) interaction of matter and electromagnetic radiation, (6) thermodynamics and kinetics of reactions in materials, and (7) mechanical properties.
