CORRELATION BETWEEN CARDIOVASCULAR AREAS OF THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM AND CARDIOVASCULAR PARAMETERS.

Abstract

These series of experiments were carried out in order to elucidate if the inhibition of the Na tubular reabsorption is capable of producing increments in the renal blood flow. Two substances with different chemical composition, Fursemide and Etacrinic Acid were used, and renal blood flow was measured by means of an electromagnetic flowmeter and indirectly by the relation between CpAH and EpAH. The circulatory and renal response to hypoxia and the modification before and after the administration of B-adrenergic blockade were studied in order to evaluate the sympathetic tone. (Author)
