Abstract
The second volume contains the doctoral dissertation of A. M. Lyapunov 'The General Problem of Stability of Motion' and all the equations connected with it after the document was published. Some corrections from a French translation of this work are included in the text. Two equations of the first order are considered. Second order equations are also included. Contributions of other scientists, Routh and Poincare are cited. The first chapter considers the integration of differential equations in question and is only introductory. In the second and third chapters, constant and periodic coefficients are considered consecutively. The second chapter touches on the questions of periodic solutions of nonlinear differential equations. (Author)
