DOSIMETRY OF IONIZING RADIATIONS,

Abstract

The training aid is written on the basis of a course of lectures read by the author at the Moscow Engineering-Physics Institute, and is designed for a reader familiar with atomic and nuclear physics, methods of registration of radiation, and interaction of radiation with substance. The book sets forth physical bases, calculation and experimental methods of dosimetry in conformity with effective training programs. The aid is intended for students specializing in the area of physics of shielding and dosimetry. The book will be useful to engineers, technicians, and laboratory assistants, practically studying questions of the dosimetry of nuclear radiations. (Author)
