STUDY OF THE DEVELOPMENT AND STABILIZATION OF DETONATIONS.

Abstract

The subject matter of the report is the program of the study of gas-wave-dynamic phenomena during the transient state from combustion initiation to stable detonation. The results should provide basic information on the general of pressure waves by explosive reactions, important to understanding of combustion instability in rocket chambers and similar devices, as, for instance, supersonic combustion propulsion systems for hypersonic flight vehicles.
