ELASTIC WAVE EXCITATION IN PIEZOELECTRIC SLABS,

Abstract

The problem of a plane uniform electromagnetic wave travelling in a vacuum region and obliquely impinging on a piezoelectric slab bounded on the opposite side by an elastic medium was considered. The power carried by the elastic wave transmitted in this last elastic medium was computed for various values of the geometrical parameters and the maxima determined. (Author)
