ELEMENTARY EXCITATIONS IN PI-ELECTRON MOLECULES,

Abstract

Equations of motion for the single particle propagator are decoupled in an atomic approximation for the Pariser-Parr-Pople model for conjugated systems. The solution is correct in the limit of separated atoms for a homonuclear two-center two-electron system. (Author)
