MICROELECTRONIC ADP MAINTENANCE STUDY.

Abstract

The objectives of the study were: (1) To determine the state-of-the-art in design of microelectronic ADP equipment. (2) To investigate available and proposed techniques for self-diagnostics. (3) To establish capabilities of self-diagnostics to detect and isolate failures without additional built-in test equipment. (4) To identify those design techniques which will result in a maintainable system. (5) To develop a set of design alternatives which will lead to a maintainable system and which will result in an extremely high availability to the organizational user.
