EVALUATION OF A PROPOSED WATER PURIFICATION PROCESS,

Abstract

A method of water purification has been evaluated. The method of treatment involves sterilization, coagulation and sedimentation. This method is bacteriologically effective; however, the concentration of dissolved solids remaining after treatment was greater than the limits set by the Navy. This method of water purification would be impractical for the individual in the field. (Author)
