STEEL STRUCTURAL DESIGNER'S HANDBOOK,

Abstract

The volume contains basic handbook material necessary for the design of steel structures. In addition to the reference tables (mathematical, nomenclature of steel profiles, permissible stresses at joints, and the like), the handbook contains data compiled in practical design of steel structures, which will be of assistance not only in simplifying design, but also in unifying the basic premises (selection of steel and electrode types, norms, standardized structural subassemblies, etc.). In compiling the handbook, use was made of existing reference literature normalizing material, standards, technical specifications, etc., as well as data from planning and production organizations.
