TESTS ON ACEC VIDEOMETER IN FOG CHAMBER AT UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA, USA.
Abstract
The report deals with an RVR measuring equipment. The tests in the fog chamber consisted first in a checking of the RVR values obtained on the ground at Brussels National Airport, Brussels, Belgium, by means of the manual detecting videometer and later in experimentation of the automatic detecting videometer. The report gives the test conditions and the results obtained with both equipments, and also a comparison of measures made simultaneously by both types of videometer and human observers. (Author)
