GRAPHICAL DESIGN OF COMB-LINE FILTERS.

Abstract

A graphical design approach for the comb-line filter is described whereby calculations are facilitated by means of extensive design charts. Design charts for the mutual and self capacitances of the comb-line resonators for the cases of a 0.10 and 0.01 dB Tchebyscheff ripple response (n = 2 to 10) are presented for bandwidths ranging from 1 to 10%. A design example demonstrating the use of the design curves is also inclosed. (Author)
