TEST AND EVALUATION OF THE 420-GPH LIGHTWEIGHT WATER PURIFICATION UNIT.

Abstract

The report covers the development, testing, and evaluation of a lightweight water purification unit for production of drinking water suitable for support of dispersed, highly mobile tactical forces of the Army in the field. The unit will be used to purify natural fresh water to provide safe drinking water for personnel. The unit is self-contained, easily transported in general-purpose lightweight ground vehicles and fixed and rotary wing aircraft, and is capable of being air dropped. (Author)
