E2 TRANSITION PROBABILITIES IN THE DAVYDOV MODEL,

Abstract

Ratios of E2 transition probabilities for the deexcitation of levels belonging to the ground state-, beta-, and gamma-rotational bands in the deformed region 150 < A < 190 are calculated with the Davydov model. A general good agreement with experiment is obtained.
