DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF COMPLEX SUPERSONIC SLEDS.

Abstract

The report describes the approach and the digital computer program used in the approximate analysis of the structural response of a complex supersonic sled under dynamic loading. A lumped-mass model was constructed, the stiffness matrix developed, natural frequencies and mode shapes calculated, and the forced response of a constrained model predicted. Forced response for an eight-degree of freedom system is determined. The program can undergo further refinement for more general solutions. (Author)
