NETWORKS WITH UNITY-GAIN VOLTAGE AMPLIFIERS,

Abstract

This report considers multiterminal common-ground networks of resistors, capacitors, self-inductors, and unity-gain voltage amplifiers (UGAs). When the UGAs are grounded the network's admittance matrix must belong to a particular subclass of the rational matrices. A synthesis procedure is given for realizing any member of this subclass. When the UGAs are not grounded a different procedure realizes any rational matrix as either the admittance or the transfer matrix of an inductorless network. The resistor values used in this procedure are directly related to the coefficients of the matrix elements and the capacitors used can be made to have one common value. (Author)
