BIBLIOGRAPHY ON THE CLIMATE OF CYPRUS,

Abstract

The most comprehensive sources of summarized data are: Cyprus. Meteorological Observations, 1909-38; 1946-53; and Egypt. Ministry of Public Works, Physical Department Meteorological Report 1907-1939. Three comprehensive textual sources are: Notes on the climate of Cyprus; Climatology of the Mediterranean region; and U. S. Weather Bureau. Climate of Southwestern Asia. Current data appear in two U. S. publications: Daily series, synoptic weather maps. Pt. II: Northern Hemisphere Data Tabulations. Daily Bulletin and Monthly Climatic Data for the World. A Great Britain publication Daily Weather Report - overseas supplement also contains current data. Abstracts found in 'Meteorological abstracts and bibliography' have been used where the information supplied was sufficient, or for works not available at the Library of Congress, or the U. S. Weather Bureau Library. (Author)
