REVIEW OF KALMAN FILTER AND OTHER ALGORITHMS CONSIDERED,
Abstract
Three general problem areas have been considered: (1) Kalman filtering and prediction, (2) dynamic programming, and (3) Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem (BCH) decoding. All three have well defined procedures to follow in their operation and are mechanizable from that standpoint. Of the three, Kalman filtering has been chosen for development in a specially organized machine. (Author)
