COMPUTING FACILITY MANAGEMENT SURVEY, RESULTS AND ANALYSIS.

Abstract

This summary report is the result of a survey on Computing Facility Management. The purpose of the project was to gather and synthesize data which would help to define opinions, trends, and methods of management decision-makers in the computerized data processing fraternity. A comprehensive series of questions were initially devised relating to 'general areas' of concern to management. Participation in the survey by specific companies within the Southern California area was expressly invited: thirty diversified computing facilities volunteered cooperation. (Author)
