SOME CLASSICAL RELATIVISTIC ELECTRODYNAMIC RELATIONS DERIVED FROM SYSTEMS OF CHARGED PARTICLES,

Abstract

A completely non-quantum mechanical derivation was made of the macroscopic polarization-magnetization tensor from a system of discrete-, randomly translating dipoles. Also derived from the same system is the well known macroscopic equation relating the four-current density to the magnetization-polarization tensor. (Author)
