A STUDY OF NON-VIRAL MICRO-PARASITES OF COLOMBIAN BATS.

Abstract

Nine different microorganisms capable of producing infection in man were isolated from 30 species of bats; 7 of these microorganisms have not previously been isolated from bats. New species of Candida, Eimeria and Trypanosoma were isolated and are described. (Author)
