A NEGATIVE V DOUBLE PRIME SYSTEM AND ITS EQUILIBRIUM.

Abstract

A negative V' configuration is obtained by applying l = 2 and l = 3 helical multipolor fields on a toroidal magnetic field. An analytical and numerical analysis indicates that the negative V' condition can be achieved in a wide region in this way.
