AUTOMATIC RECOGNITION OF PATTERNS,

Abstract

The First All-Union Symposium on Automatic Pattern Recognition, organized by the Scientific Council on the Overall Problem of Cybernetics of the Academy of Sciences USSR, was held in Moscow from 16 to 18 June 1965. Over sixty papers were presented on the following topics: (1) General problems in pattern recognition; (2) learning automata; (3) recognition of visual and aural patterns, and (4) reading automata.
