ELECTRON-HOLE PLASMA DENSITY MEASUREMENTS,

Abstract

A diagnostic tool to determine the spatial and temporal distribution of nonequilibrium electron-hole plasma has been made utilizing a N2-CO2 cw laser and a Cu-doped Ge detector. Measurements of distribution have been made on an injected and subsequently pinched plasma contained in p-InSb at approximately 77 degrees K. The results show that the method has excellent spatial and time resolution. (Author)
