AN AUTOMATIC NOISE WHITENER FOR SIGNAL CORRELATION SYSTEMS,

Abstract

A device has been developed for automatically whitening the spectrum of input signals to a correlation signal processing system. This device consists of a number of narrow band filters, whose outputs are clipped, filtered again, and recombined to form the whitened output. The device is described and its performance against strong interfering single-frequency noise presented. (Author)
