MCDIT 1: A COMPUTER CODE FOR ONE-DIMENSIONAL IMPACT PROBLEMS.

Abstract

The computer programs for like material one-dimensional impact problems are presented. The problems are solved by applying the method of characteristics to metals following a specific equation of state and to an ideal gas. Detailed instructions for the use of the programs and the limitations of the programs are given. (Author)
