SOLID STATE IMAGE INTENSIFIERS.

Abstract

The acetic acid washed type CdSe powder was chosen for the final construction of image intensifier panels. For the selection of the opaque layer deposited between the PC and EL layers, more experiments are needed. Barium titanate deposited above the black layer did not improve the brightness of the panel. Various resins were tried for sealing a protective glass plate in front of the EL panel. Life test experiments gave good results when an epoxy resin type 1266 was used for sealing. (Author)
