SELECTION OF BINARY-DECIMAL CODES FOR AUTOMATIC DIGITAL MEASURING INSTRUMENTS (ADMI) WITH A TERNARY COMPARISON DEVICE,

Abstract

This article is a discussion of the selection of a binary-decimal code which is optimal with respect to speed for automatic digital measuring instruments using ternary comparison devices. It is shown that for the purpose of more effective use of the functional possibilities of such comparison devices it is desirable that the digital coding be done parallel in two channels.
