ANALYSIS OF AN ANNULAR PLATE SUBJECTED TO A CONCENTRATED LOAD.

Abstract

An annular plate, clamped at the outer boundary, free of tractions and support at the inner boundary, and subjected to an eccentrically located concentrated load is examined in detail. Extensive computational results of the maximum deflection, radial moment, and circumferential moment associated with the radial location of the load and for a range of the inner to outer radius ratio are presented graphically.
