THE ELASTIC SCATTERING OF FAST IONS AND ATOMS IN GASES.

Abstract

The results of two research programs are summarized: (1) the scattering of a series of ion-atom systems isoelectronic with He-He, viz. Li(+)-He, Be(++)-He, and B(+++)-He; (2) the scattering of Be(++) ions with He and Hz.
