THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES ON THE LONG DIPOLE ANTENNA.

Abstract

The problem of a long transmitting dipole antenna is studied theoretically and experimentally. The Wiener-Hopf technique is used to solve the problem. Explicit expressions for the current and charge distributions along the antenna are obtained. These quantities are also measured. The theoretical and experimental results are in good agreement.
