QUASI-HERMITE INTERPOLATION.

Abstract

A generalization of Hermite interpolation to nonconsecutive derivatives is discussed. Some results are obtained concerning the uniqueness of the generalized interpolating polynomial in the special case of the interpolation of a function and its nth derivative at equally spaced interpolating points.
