RELIABILITY TABLES.

Abstract

The reliability tables in this document are intended to close a gap in existing tabular information. The tables provide a convenient method for determining reliability to four significant figures with either one- or two-tail confidence limits. To keep pace with present-day production schedules, the engineer needs tables that will allow him to predict the reliability of an equipment from test data alone, thus freeing him from time consuming calculations. For this reason it was decided to develop these tables, which make it simple to derive reliability values at various confidence levels directly from test results. (Author)
