LOW SPEED EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF THE 3-DIMENSIONAL PERFORMANCE OF A COMPRESSOR CASCADE OF BLUNT TRAILING EDGE BLADES,

Abstract

The work is part of a program to optimize the cascade parameters of the blunt trailing edge blading. A study was made of the three-dimensional performance of the cascade for various aspect ratios at the near design angle of attack. The cascade fixed parameters are: inlet air angle, solidity, stagger angle, and a Reynolds number based on the free stream inlet air velocity and the blade mid-chord.
