INVESTIGATION OF THE LIGHT SCATTERING TECHNIQUE FOR COUNTING AND SIZE DETERMINATION OF MICRON-SIZED METEORITES.

Abstract

The essential characteristics and basic configuration of a compact instrument intended to count and determine the size of micrometeorites by measuring the intensity of light scattered by such micron-sized particles are described. The problems associated with measurement of scattered light intensities in the forward lobe are discussed. (Author)
