TAPE RECORDING OF EARLY NUCLEAR WEAPON PHENOMENA,

Abstract

It is shown that high-speed phenomena associated with underground nuclear weapon tests can be recorded with fair accuracy using suitably modified commercially available high-frequency recording equipment. The fundamental problem is stated, and the distortion of the phenomena (assumed to be gaussian pulses) is determined quantitatively. (Author)
