MECHANISMS OF ENERGY TRANSFER IN DIELECTRICS.

Abstract

The processes pertinent to the moderation of electrons of energies near the internal ionization energy of a dielectric are studied. The probe for these studies is the positron through its annihilation characteristics. The decay characteristics are related to the cross sections of electronic scattering and energy loss. (Author)
