WIDE-ANGLE INTERNAL DEFLECTION STRUCTURES OF CATHODE-RAY TUBES.

Abstract

Factors that determine spot size in cathode-ray tubes are examined. The suitability of a 'modified Pierce gun' for use in cathode-ray tubes is being investigated. A method for measuring spot size and current distribution in the spot is analyzed. Electron guns for use in a multigun cathode-ray tube were designed. (Author)
