CALCULATION OF ICE VOLUME AND HUMMOCKS. USING BAFFIN SEA AS EXAMPLE,

Abstract

The paper discusses the essentials of a method used for the calculation of ice volume in a sea by which the hummockness of ice is accounted for so that the actual data on hummockness are not needed. The method is exemplified by the calculation of ice for the Baffin Sea. (Author)
