300 MILLIWATT X-BAND TRIODE OSCILLATOR.
Abstract
Eighty Y-1613 triodes were made representing several different type cathode structures. Fourteen tubes having nickel base cathodes, and three featuring dispenser cathodes and bonded heaters, were made available for rf testing. A triode having a nickel base cathode gave best operation life (265 hours) of tubes tested to date. (Author)
