A WORLD-WIDE INVESTIGATION OF THE MID-LATITUDE EVENING INCREASE OF THE F SUB OF2 IN THE SUMMER HEMISPHERE.

Abstract

Using the data and the computer program of the Ionospheric Predictions Services of ITSA-ESSA, we have obtained six world contour maps of the evening anomaly in an effort to establish the geographic and local time characteristics of this intriguing, but not well understood, phenomenon. (Author)
