TRANSFORMATION OF PROGRAM SCHEMES TO STANDARD FORMS,

Abstract

A program scheme can be represented by a directed graph with its vertices or arcs labeled according to some fixed schema. Such a graph explicitly indicates the control structure of the program scheme and is in standard form if it satisfies a given set of constraints. Two such standard forms have been investigated in this report. Part I of the report consider the block form and Part II the K sub n -form, respectively. Each part is self-contained. (Author)
