STUDY OF NONEQUILIBRIUM FLOWS

Abstract

The experimental part of the project concentrated on development and utilization of various spectroscopic techniques for monitoring vibrational state populations in high-temperature relaxing gas flows. The theoretical part of the project centered on master-equation analyses of various models for systems of vibrationally relaxing molecules. Abstracts of reports and papers published under the contract are included. The most recent experimental data, which have not as yet been published, are also given.
