VISCOSITY AS A FUNCTION OF SHEAR RATE.

Abstract

Polymer viscosity is derived as a function of rate of shear. The basic idea introduced is that the polymer attains a limiting strain in the melt viscosity instrument. This limiting strain is perhaps a braking strain. (Author)
