ELECTROSTATIC FOCUSING OF HOLLOW SPIRALING ELECTRON BEAMS.

Abstract

The detailed design for an end fire experimental gun was completed. All the parts have been machined and only final assembly remains to be accomplished before vacuum testing. The computer program for trajectory plotting including space charge effects has been completed. A sample computer calculation is included as an appendix to this report. (Author)
